Welcome to Vocation Abroad (referred to in this document as "we," "us," or "our").
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vocation Abroad platform, including our website and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Platform.
1. Overview
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you ("User") and Vocation Abroad.
This agreement governs your use of our Platform and any services provided through it.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will take effect upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Binding Agreement and Variations
By accessing or using the Vocation Abroad platform, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Vocation Abroad.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or applicable laws. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform, and it is your responsibility to review them.
Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform immediately.
Certain features or services on the Platform may be governed by additional terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any specific terms, the specific terms will take precedence for the relevant service.
3. Eligibility
・Users must generally be at least 18 years old to create an account or access certain features of the Platform that involve entering into agreements or applying for work.
However, individuals aged 17 or below who are exploring opportunities or planning future working holidays may browse the Platform with the understanding that they must be at least 18 to apply for jobs or enter into any agreements.
By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you do not, you must refrain from using the Platform.
・Employers and job seekers agree to provide accurate and truthful information when using the Platform.
・We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any User who violates these Terms or applicable laws.
4. Use of the Platform
・Job Seekers:
You may browse and apply for job listings posted on the Platform.
While we make reasonable efforts to review job ads and reject or remove those that violate our policies, including ads that are duplicate, irrelevant, misleading, inappropriate, or otherwise non-compliant,
it remains your responsibility to verify the legitimacy of any job listing or employer before proceeding.
・Employers:
You may post job listings for the purpose of recruiting candidates.
Employers must comply with all applicable laws and these Terms and are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they post. We reserve the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate or misleading.
5. Account Registration and Termination
a. Account Registration
・Users may need to create an account to access certain features of the Platform.
・You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
・We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive, contain false information, or are used in violation of these Terms.
b. Termination or Cancellation of Accounts
・Job Seekers:
You acknowledge that you do not hold ownership rights to your account. If your account is canceled by you or terminated by us, all associated information, including job alerts, profiles, and saved job applications, may be flagged for deletion and removed from our system. We also reserve the right to deactivate or delete accounts that remain inactive for an extended period or as deemed necessary for operational or legal purposes.
・Employers:
If your employer account is canceled by you or terminated by us, all associated data, including saved job postings, may be flagged for deletion and removed from our system.
6. License to Use
a. By Job Seekers
We grant Job Seekers a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Platform solely for personal use in seeking employment opportunities. By using the Platform, you agree to:
・Use the Platform only for personal, non-commercial purposes directly related to your job search
・Not sell, modify, reproduce, or distribute Platform content for public or commercial use without prior written consent
・Be solely responsible for the content of any document, profile, or application you submit and for any consequences arising from such submissions
・Not share your login credentials or permit unauthorized access to your account or any Licensed Materials. Misuse of login credentials may result in account suspension or termination
Unauthorized use of the Platform, including accessing Licensed Materials for purposes other than those explicitly authorized by these Terms, may result in immediate termination of your access and legal action.
b. By Employers
We grant Employers a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Platform for internal business purposes related to searching for and recruiting candidates. By using the Platform, Employers agree to:
・Use the Platform solely for lawful recruitment purposes
・Ensure that all job ads and other content comply with applicable laws, including labor, anti-discrimination, wage, and data privacy laws
・Be solely responsible for the content of any job ads or other materials posted and any consequences arising from such postings
・Not sell, transfer, or assign any rights granted under these Terms to any third party without prior written consent from Vocation Abroad
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Employers who fail to comply with these Terms, post misleading or inappropriate content, or misuse the Platform in any way.
7. Job Ads
This section applies to Employers registered on the Platform.
◆Employer Responsibilities
・Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the job ads they post. Please review all ads carefully after submission to ensure they are error-free.
・Employers must ensure that all job ads comply with applicable local, national, and international laws, including but not limited to those related to labor and employment, equal opportunity, employment eligibility, data privacy, and intellectual property rights.
◆Approval of Job Ads
・Job ads must be approved by us before they are published on the Platform. We will make reasonable efforts to review and approve ads promptly; however, delays may occur during high-traffic periods.
・We reserve the right to reject or remove job ads at our discretion if they:
- Are irrelevant to working holiday visa holders or international job seekers
- Contain duplicate listings
- Do not represent genuine, current employment opportunities
- Include vague or misleading descriptions
- Contain inappropriate or explicit content, including but not limited to jobs in the adult industry
- Require job seekers to pay fees to apply or participate
- Are categorized incorrectly
◆Posting Guidelines
・Employers may post only one job role per ad. Ads advertising multiple roles may be removed or incur additional charges.
・All job ads must include sufficient detail about the position, including job title, location, responsibilities, and required qualifications.
・Employers are encouraged to promptly update or remove job ads that are no longer valid.
・Links to official company websites and social media profiles are allowed in the employer profile.
However, external links in job ads or application processes require prior approval.
・Job ads indicating eligibility for specific visa requirements, such as extensions or sponsorships, are based solely on the declarations made by the Employers posting those ads.
Job Seekers are responsible for understanding the relevant visa requirements and should verify directly with the appropriate immigration authority, such as the Department of Immigration or equivalent, to ensure the role meets the criteria.
Vocation Abroad does not guarantee the accuracy or validity of these declarations and encourages Job Seekers to exercise due diligence before proceeding.
◆Genuine Job Opportunities
・Job ads must represent authentic employment opportunities that are currently open and actively recruiting.
・We reserve the right to request verification of the job’s legitimacy, including but not limited to proof of the position's existence or recruitment efforts.
◆Reclassification of Job Ads
・We reserve the right to reclassify job ads into appropriate categories if posted incorrectly. If reclassification incurs additional fees, we will notify you before proceeding.
◆Ad Refreshing and Duplicate Ads
The following actions are considered a new job ad and may incur additional fees
- Reposting an archived or deleted job ad;
- Copying and reposting existing ads;
- Changing a category or classification to refresh the ad;
◆Prohibited Uses
An Employer may not use a job posting to:
- Submit job ads that violate applicable local, national, or international laws, including but not limited to labor and employment laws, equal opportunity requirements, and data protection regulations;
- Post content that promotes or advertises products, services, or opportunities that are not genuine job roles (e.g., multi-level marketing schemes, franchise opportunities, or self-employment schemes);
- Post jobs or content for competitors of Vocation Abroad or include links to any site competitive with Vocation Abroad;
- Submit duplicate or misleading job postings to gain greater visibility on the Platform.
◆Prohibited Content
We do not allow job ads that:
- Are related to the adult entertainment industry, including but not limited to roles as strippers, models, or escort services;
- Contain offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory language;
- Include misleading promises, such as unrealistic pay or benefits;
- Require applicants to make any form of payment as part of the hiring process;
- Contain inappropriate or explicit content unrelated to employment.
◆Ad Removal
- Job ads older than 6 months may be removed by us without prior notice.
- Employers are encouraged to remove ads as soon as the position is filled to maintain the accuracy of listings on the Platform.
◆Visa-Specific Roles
・Job ads indicating eligibility for specific visa requirements, such as extensions or sponsorships, are based solely on the declarations made by the Employers posting those ads.
Job Seekers are responsible for understanding the relevant visa requirements and should verify directly with the appropriate immigration authority, such as the Department of Immigration or equivalent, to ensure the role meets the criteria.
Vocation Abroad does not guarantee the accuracy or validity of these declarations and encourages Job Seekers to exercise due diligence before proceeding.
8. Content Guidelines
・All users must not post or share content that is false, defamatory, obscene, unlawful, or infringes on the rights of others.
・Content posted anywhere on the Platform, including job ads, user profiles, or other submissions, must adhere to these guidelines.
・We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms, is otherwise objectionable, or is deemed harmful to the integrity of the Platform.
9. Fees and Payments
Job Seekers: Access to basic job application features is free unless otherwise specified.
Employers: Certain features, such as premium job postings, may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
10. Limitation of Liability
・Vocation Abroad acts as a facilitator and is not responsible for the accuracy of job listings, employer conduct, or the outcome of any employment process.
・To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Intellectual Property
・All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Vocation Abroad or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
・Users may not copy, distribute, or use Platform content without prior written consent.
12. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that harms the Platform or other Users.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
