Job Brief/Overview:
Our client is seeking an experience administrator with exposure to HR duties as a bonus to join their team. It will begin as a 3-6 month temp assignment and will go permanent for the right candidate.
The candidate will need to have 3+ years in an administration role, as this position requires high volume of administration and coordination.
Shifts will be Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM - shift times may be flexible.
There are no WFH arrangements, it must be 5 days a week onsite at Horsely Park, free parking onsite.
Casual pay rate will be $35 - 38 per hour + super.
The below duties are a broad range of tasks that the successful candidate may be exposed:
- Maintaining of training and recertification records in our competency management system (RIW), and ensure training and recertifications are delivered in a timely manner,
- Providing guidance and assistance regarding our competency management system with the other HR Coordinator,
- Provide training and support to users on RIW and other data management systems as required, including the onboarding of administrators to the system.
- Coordinate onboarding requirements and management of probation periods for all employees, including offboarding and terminations
- Issuing of employee contracts and liaise with payroll to ensure appropriate remuneration is maintained,
- Facilitate and manage career expos for the engagement of Trainees and Apprentices
- Provide assistance as required to general admin tasks as assigned by the HR Manager,
- Provide support and guidance to the greater Shared Services teams,
- In conjunction with WHS, manage the Return to Work process, including the booking of medical appointments, processing of claims and liaising with associated WorkCover agencies.
Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Strong administrative background - over 3+ years
- A high level of computer literacy - use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Exposure to multicultural workforce
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to manoeuvre through various tasks as required,
- Team player willing to get involved across the whole business,
- Display a can do and positive attitude,
- Demonstrate a level of confidentiality in general as information acquired is not necessarily common knowledge throughout the business
